How Does TruSculpt ID Work?
Trusculpt ID utilizes radio frequency technology to target and eliminate specific areas of body fat. Radio frequencies provide deep heat to a target area of subcutaneous adipose tissue (body fat found just under the skin), causing the fat cells to breakdown and die.
Treatment is pain-free and requires no topical anesthesia or pain medication. A handpiece is used, which is applied directly to the skin in the area to be treated. Then pulses of deep-heating radiofrequency energy painlessly penetrate the skin and deliver energy to the precise area of fat tissue without affecting other body tissues. The hand piece is then moved to nearby areas and the process is repeated until the whole area has been treated. Each pulse lasts for approximately four minutes.
